The Convivial Camera . Photography as Social Practice
During a conversation at Tuttle I tentatively mentioned during ‘any other announcements’ that I had been thinking about putting a book together about my photographic practice, and that maybe I could use some wall space at the Centre for Creative Collaboration to ‘research’ the ideas in the book. Lloyd and Brian thought it was a good idea and encouraged me to put a proposal in. After a couple of weeks of uncertainty I eventually filled in the very simple proposal page on the Centre for Creative Collaboration web site and a few days later I was invited to a meeting with Thias Martin and Brian Condon. They both liked the idea and invited me start the project as soon as I liked. I began putting pages on the wall on 25 May 2011. |
