As I write these words images, images of my family fade into my conscious mind and fade away again. These images in my mind seem photographic, they’re based on photographs I have of the family. But this family is not here, in London.
My father died in Florida 14 years ago, my mother lives in the State of New York, near to my sister Marilyn, and Wendy, my other sister, lives in Surrey. I very rarely see or communicate with my family. I hope sometimes they will get something from seeing my photographs and writings on the web. One of the reasons for making the web photo diary is to create an environment for having a dialogue with my family about these photographs from our lives.
