Schema
'The word schema (plural: schemata or schemas ) is used by cognitive
psychologists to refer to a kind of mental template (also called
a 'cognitive structure' or a 'knowledge structure').
Schemata
are stored in long-term memory and are employed when we interpret
our experiences. Many psychological experiments have shown the
importance of our expectations in making sense of new experiences.'

The cafe, overlooking a spacious garden, offers a good selection
of informal food, coffee and tea, and the soup tasted good.
