Rog the Mod 1966 (3447) November 2004 | Timeline

This is Roger (twig) with the Lambretta GT 200 just a few miles from Lake Como in 1966. I'd had the Lambretta bored out to 225cc, and fitted it with a straight-through exhaust and a form of 'fuel-injection' instead of a carb. It was very fast. I managed to crash it just before we got back to the UK. But during a couple of weeks we had gone through Belgium, Luxembourg, over the Swiss Alps, down into Italy and on to Rome before coming back through France, and crashing just a few miles from Calais.
