Sunset over Greenford Station in Middlesex (2373) February 2006 | Another

Making Time
Last Friday (10th) I was standing here on the platform of Greenford station thinking about the Photography Workshop I had run at 'Footsteps'. This visual arts group mainly focus their activities around painting and drawing. I had come in to introduce them to the delights of digital photography. Unfortunately the batteries for the 6 digital cameras they had bought had all run out of power. So how do you run a photography workshop without cameras - well, we made animations. Using the painting and drawing tools, they were familiar with, each person developed a story and copied the sequence they had produced onto a digital camera. Everyone enjoyed making these story paintings and watching the finished movies on the computer, and I rode into the sunset.
A cold/cough has taken over my body and brain this week and we're off to Maldon today (Friday).

This is a site for soar eyes.
Just spent 4 hours travelling back through the pouring rain.
Grey from A to B.
Hope your trip to Maldon was okay and that you've got a few shots to share.
Will catch-up in the next few days.

Thanks everyone for the comments you left over the weekend - they are my inspiration and motivation. Unfortunately the 'cold infection' has spread to my eyes, which are now puffy and blocked up with gunk! I knew I should eat more fruit and veg and get that 30 mins of exercise a day! I'll try and get round to responding to your thoughts later, hopefully today.
