The Beatles, 1964 | February 2006 | Timeline

In 1964 I worked at a photographic studio, Studio Six, in Old Compton Street, Soho. I learnt to assist on shoots and do most of the developing and printing. I forget the details of this image but it was one of many that I was involved in. Once the photographs had been shot and printed the PR people from the record companies would order a box or two (100-200) of prints for publicity handouts. As well as printing I would often deliver the pics, on my Lambretta, to the record companies or PR people.
