Earl - What I Saw 2.0 says: Excellent shot, especially the parallel reflection. I am a big neon fan, too. Nice one - fave!
clifsnap10 says: I'm sure if I had taken that it would be a big blob!Great shot,,
Another Tony says: Hi Earl, thanks. I might be doing some more neon in this area again soon.
Another Tony says: Cliff, thanks .. the blob! Indescribable! Indestructible! and nothing can stop it!
Black Dust a.k.a. odonbd says: Very nice neon reflection. The cat on it reminds me a french records from the 90s, called "Crie du Chat". Just eletronic music, there.
Another Tony says: Odon, thanks. The 'Crying Cat' sign was based on the original logo, a cat owned by Ray and his wife Wendy. It reminds me of the cat goddess of ancient Egypt.
roel1943 says: Great Shot I stay in the 60th in a hotel opsit Charing Cros station I was in Londen during the premiere of the Yellow Submarine Beatle movie
another twig says: Hey, roel, did you go to the premiere?
If so, perhaps we were within yards of each other...
Do you remember that tony?
Did you use 'that flash' flashgun that evening, or was that another dimension?
Did you take any pics?
Another Tony says: Roel, hi and thanks. The Yellow Submarine premiere, that must have been way back in July 1968, amazing, I have some vague and recurring memories of this time, and the odd pic - tinyurl.com/y9ad4j !!
It's interesting that this photo sparked this memory for you Roel :: ?
Another Tony says: Twig, I remember, and it was a rollei flashgun that I managed to mis-use
there are places I remember
all my life though some have changed
stewpic says: Nice shot Tony the moon is so clear too.
another twig says: I just clicked the link and suddenly realised how tall you are!
Another Tony says: Stewart, thanks. The moon looked so much better on the day.
Another Tony says: Twig, and this was before platform heels!
