The Wall
This striking wall at the Life Science Centre in Newcastle overlooks a large open public space, with cafes, and pubs, but very few people around. Behind the wall it seems 100,000sq feet of laboratory space provides a campus for University-based research in stem cell, genetics and regenerative medicine.

Amber Side
September sun shines down the Battery Stairs leading up to Amber films. A potted Box tree acts as a visual distraction and props up the sign for the Side Photographic Gallery. This place has been around since I was at college in the 70s.
